Crimson Tide Fleckvieh is predominantly a horned herd using both current and "Old German" horned genetics in their breeding program. For the 2011 breeding season; we are using the most notable and outstanding Smithbilt Molson 21M as the cornerstone sire. For those females who are too closely related to Smithbilt Molson 21M, we are using the following sires: HEMR Heller 5H, the sire of one of our elite donor females,
SS Kalinda 7K; who is phenotypically, outstandingly correct with excellent udder conformation, second to none!
Next is a "German Import"; Enrico, an excellent female maker with superior milk production. Over 34,000
females registered in Bavaria alone! A sire with a rare set of genetics going back to the old Eder sire.
We are also using our Jr. Herdsire; Crimson Tide Marvellous, who provides an outcross set of genetics with
Hockenhull Marvel, Usch, Heller and Zamuto. |
